Welcome, dear reader to the only zombie super-hero webcomic you'll ever need!
Written and illustrated by Ben Steeves under the "DangerFace Studios" banner, Zom-Ben started as an experimental webcomic fusing full-size, full-colour pages with with 3-panel gag strips to tell the tale of slacker comic illustrator Ben Benson's transformation into the slacker zombie super-hero Zom-Ben. By chapter 2 the 3-panel strips were ditched almost entirely for a full-page format allowing more story to be told per page. Chapter 3 introduced an all full-colour format (beautifully coloured by Dave Olson), which unfortunately could not be kept up through the whole chapter. With the fourth chapter came a great new colouring talent in the form of Manny Peters who, barring nuclear disaster, seems to be in it for the long haul.
Chapter 5 sees the biggest change with Manny not only colouring, but helping with the plot with Ben and new co-writer Mike Campbell, changing DangerFace Studios into the three-times more powerful Tri Polar Entertainment.
So sit back with a plate of poutine and an ice cold bottle of maple syrup and enjoy the steaming clump of Canadiana that is Zom-Ben!
